The Cinderella Ball is a fun-filled program designed to foster positive relationships between fathers and their young daughters. Our goal is to empower fathers to build foundations of self confidence and self worth in our daughters that will help them grow into strong, independent young women. Grandfathers, uncles or other signifcant male role models are welcome to attend with the princess.Memories That Last a Lifetime Your ticket includes dinner, a horse-drawn carriage ride, a craft, a magic show, a ballroom dancing lesson, T-shirt, and a commemorative photo. Cinderella and Prince Charming will also be attending the event! Princesses attending this royal event are also encouraged to bring a donation for the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn. Requested items include: Golf balls Wood glue Wood for work shop (soft wood – 2x2’s preferred) 1” drywall screws 7/8” roofing nails Pipe cleaners Pie pans (aluminum) Paper towel rolls (the cardboard roll) Needles and thread Lunch bags Paper plates Flower seeds Bag of Dirt Pine cones Bird seed Peanut butter Construction paper 8 ½ x 11” copy paper Just before the clock strikes twelve, Cinderella will convene her Princess Power Circle and ask all princesses of her royal kingdom to join hands on the dance floor. There, a member of the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn will thank the girls for their generosity and tell them how their contributions will be used. Please note that all princesses, regardless of whether or not they bring a donation, will be invited to participate in Princess Power. |
